First serious post, this is an artist that I was recently exposed to, her name is Shirin Neshat, she's from Iran and often discusses the role of the female gender in Islamic regions.
So here's a link and a screenshot to a 1998 video she directed called "Turbulent", it sends shivers right down my spine. Enjoy.
